Watermelon Recipes with Vital Proteins
Two cups watermelon, pureed
Two cups fruit juice or fresh water
Two tablespoons Vital Proteins Collagen Protein
2-3 tablespoons raw honey or pure maple syrup (optional)
In a medium bowl, add 1/2 cup water along with the two tablespoons of Collagen Protein. This will bloom the gelatin.
In a sauce pot, combine the remaining 1/2 cup of water or juice and the watermelon puree. Heat on low-medium just until the point of steaming.
Pout heated mixture into the liquid gelatin mixture and stir to dissolve, adding the optional honey or syrup. Pour into a glass dish or individual ramequins and refrigerate until set, about 2-3 hours.
Watermelon Lemon Collagen Peptide Drink
1 cup watermelon, sliced
1 cup water
1/4 cup lemon juice

Blend the watermelon, water and lemon juice in a blender until desired thickness. Add Collagen Peptides and pulse until fully incorporated.
