The holidays are here and there is already a mountain of snow on the ground. This has me wanting to run inside from the cold and warm up with a hot mug of coffee or hot chocolate. As kids, our parents would always have a big mug of hot chocolate ready for us, topped off with marshmallows that never seemed like enough. As we got older, we decided to add coffee to our hot chocolate to give it a mocha spin.
Now I know that traditional mocha offers a delicious flavor of coffee, but I wanted to switch it up this time and create a mocha hot chocolate with zero caffeine. Instead, I added one scoop of Vital Proteins Mocha Collagen Creamer and it turned out delicious! If you are a chocolate lover like I am, and you enjoy the warm delicious flavor of mocha, then you are going to want to whip up a mug of this homemade mocha hot chocolate right.
I love that the Mocha Collagen Creamer is easily soluble. This makes it perfect for using while baking and making delicious holiday beverages! The Mocha Collagen Creamer also helps to promote hair, skin, nails, joints and gut. Vital Proteins Mocha Collagen Creamer includes 9 grams of healthy fats from organic coconut milk, which will give you the energy you need during this time of year.
This simple 6-ingredient mocha hot chocolate recipe will be a delightful treat over the holidays.
