DIY Bath Soak with Lavender Lemon Beauty Water

A hydrating DIY Bath Soak is just what you need to relax.

Relaxing in a spa-like oasis seems like the best way to rejuvenate after a long, stressful day, but since most of us don’t have a spa in our homes, we’ve come up with the next best thing.  A revitalizing DIY bath soak is just the ticket for not only relaxing, but detoxifying and hydrating as well using Vital Proteins Collagen Beauty Water.

Benefits of Epsom Salt

Taking a hot bath is usually the first step in winding down after a long day, but adding epsom salts does offer a host of benefits as well.  Epsom salts have been shown to have better magnesium absorption, which promotes better sleep, aids in stress management, and can support healthy circulation (1).  Check out how soaking in this lavender luxury can help:

  • Removing toxins
  • Hydrating skin
  • Supporting circulation
  • Promotes joint health
  • Soothing skin
  • Restoring a healthy glow
  • Promoting deep sleep

Benefits of Essential Oil

Breathe in, breathe out.  Essential oils are known for their relaxation qualities as much as their beautiful scents.  A few drops of lavender essential oil in this DIY bath soak can promote relaxation and help you destress (2).  Specifically, many studies have shown that lavender essential oil had positive effects on the sleep quality of women (3).  Lavender is a natural ingredient that aids in promoting a healthy inflammatory response in skin and its overall antiseptic properties that fight bacteria.

Benefits of Collagen Beauty Water

Collagen Beauty Water also contains 120mg of hyaluronic acid per scoop, which plumps and hydrates skin so you feel dewey and refreshed. Even though drinking our Beauty Waters gives you these benefits from the inside out, topical benefits include improved elasticity and smoothness of the skin, increased hydration, and even the reversal of free radicals.  Vital Proteins’ Lavender Lemon Collagen Beauty Water – which includes organic lavender to help you relax – is a fantastic addition to this DIY bath soak.
