Your Morning Just Got Tastier with This Cacao Blackberry Oatmeal

You just can’t go wrong with oatmeal. The traditional breakfast staple has been around for as long as we can remember. And there’s a good reason for that; it’s totally versatile. You can have it plain or with some nut maple syrup and cinnamon. Or you can totally upgrade your carb-loaded breakfast with a medley of fruit and nut toppings.

Food blogger Meagan Bickings (@earthfood_kitchen on Instagram) created this Cacao Blackberry Oatmeal recipe, which calls for gluten-free oats, coconut milk and fruits. Cacao Blackberry Oatmeal

Yields 1 serving


For garnishes:

  • Raw cacao nibs
  • Organic peanut butter
  • Maple syrup
  • Sliced almonds
  • Fresh blackberries


  1. Cook all ingredients on stovetop and stir until desired consistency.
  2. Top with raw cacao nibs, organic peanut butter, more maple syrup, sliced almonds and fresh blackberries.
